Antonia Troth and Kathryn Rodbert set up Madeleine’s Kitchen in 2011. After years of training and working in the catering industry and cooking for family and friends, we started a catering business to cook and sell the fresh food that we love to eat. We are based in the small Hampshire village of Greatham.
Antonia grew up in France where food played an important part of her daily life. Her parents were involved in setting up hotels and restaurants and she went on to run three local country pubs with Nick, her husband, which were all well reviewed in The Michelin Guide, The Good Food Guide and The Good Pub Guide scooping up an AA Rosette along the way.
Kathryn spent much of her childhood in South East Asia where she developed an enthusiasm for the flavours of the local foods. She took a Cordon Bleu course and over the next few years worked in Paris and London, cooking in a variety of venues. She ran her own corporate hospitality business in London until moving to the country to start a family.
